Uniforms Melbourne

Uniforms Melbourne – Workwear, Staff Uniforms & Custom Branding

Looking for a uniform supplier in Melbourne? Fair enough, there are plenty, and at first glance most uniform websites look much the same.

Here's one difference that matters once you've actually placed the order: we do our own branding.

House of Uniforms has been supplying and branding uniforms and merch from Moorabbin in Melbourne's south east since 2004. Our embroidery, printing and other decoration are managed in-house rather than sending your garments off to another decorator and hoping everything comes back on time.

That means fewer handoffs, better control over your order and importantly, one place to call if you need an answer.

Whether you're ordering work uniforms for a Melbourne business, fitting out a national team or organising branded merchandise for an event, you'll deal with the people responsible for getting the job done.

Melbourne Uniforms Branded in Moorabbin 🧵

We offer a wide range of in-house branding and decoration methods including:

Keeping production under our own roof gives us greater control over artwork, branding quality and production schedules.

If there's a question about your logo, we can talk to our production team.

If there's a question about your order, we can check where it is.

No game of telephone tag between your uniform supplier and a decorator you've never met.

Work Uniforms for Melbourne Businesses

Uniform requirements vary enormously between workplaces, which is why our range goes well beyond the traditional embroidered polo.

We supply uniforms and branded apparel for businesses and organisations across industries including:

Our range includes work shirts, polo shirts, tee shirts, hoodies, jackets, workwear, hi-vis clothing, scrubs, chef wear, corporate apparel, caps, bags and promotional merchandise from a large range of Australian and international brands.

You can build an entire range in one place rather than trying to coordinate different suppliers for every part of the team.

Embroidered Uniforms Melbourne

Embroidery remains one of our most popular options for professional uniforms.

It's particularly well suited to polo shirts, business shirts, jackets, workwear, caps and healthcare uniforms where a durable, professional finish is important.

But embroidery isn't automatically the right answer for every garment or every logo.

Depending on your artwork, garment and intended use, printing or another decoration method may produce a better result. Our team can recommend the most appropriate branding method rather than trying to force every logo through the same machine.

Uniform Lead Times - In Business Days ⏱️

If you've got a deadline, this is the useful bit.

Unbranded orders: Most items ship within 3–7 business days.

Custom branded uniforms: Allow approximately 10–15 business days.

For branded orders, the production clock starts once your branding proof has been approved in writing.

So if your uniforms are needed for a particular opening, event, new starter or project date, getting artwork and approvals sorted quickly is one of the easiest ways to keep the order moving.

Urgent production may also be available depending on the products, branding method and production schedule.

Do You Have to Be in Melbourne?

Not at all.

We are location at 2-4 Walter Street, Moorabbin VIC 3189, making us particularly convenient for businesses throughout Melbourne and south-east Melbourne.

But we're not just a Melbourne uniform supplier.

We ship uniforms and branded merchandise Australia-wide, including metropolitan, regional and remote locations, as well as nearby international destinations.

Being in Melbourne yourself simply means you're particularly close to the machines.

Need to Check Uniform Sizes?

Buying uniforms online shouldn't mean crossing your fingers and hoping everyone fits.

Our Moorabbin showroom has around 3,000 samples available to help customers compare garments, fabrics and sizes.

For teams that can't visit us, we also provide detailed sizing information and can assist with samples so staff can establish their sizes before a larger uniform order is placed.

This becomes particularly useful when you're fitting out a team with different garments or coordinating staff across multiple locations.

One Uniform or Four Hundred 🔢

There is no minimum quantity on the garments themselves.

Need one polo? Fine.

Need 400? Also fine.

Personal name embroidery can also be ordered individually, making it practical for new starters and replacement garments without having to wait until you've accumulated a large reorder.

Logo branding works differently because artwork setup, embroidery digitising and production setup are required before decoration begins. Minimum quantities can therefore apply depending on the branding method. But for most branding methods that we offer the MOQ is only 12.

If you're planning an ongoing staff uniform program, we can help establish the artwork and branding specifications from the beginning so future reorders are considerably easier.

Choosing a Melbourne Uniform Supplier

Price matters, but it's not the only thing worth comparing.

Before choosing a uniform company, we'd suggest asking:

Who actually does the branding?
Is it completed by the supplier or outsourced elsewhere?

What happens when you need another three uniforms?
A supplier that works beautifully for the first 100 garments but makes every small reorder painful can become expensive very quickly.

Can staff try garments before ordering?
Sizing mistakes create unnecessary returns, delays and unhappy employees.

Can the supplier handle different branding methods?
Embroidery isn't right for everything. Neither is print.

What happens when something goes wrong?
Knowing who is actually responsible for production makes a surprisingly big difference.

The best uniform supplier isn't necessarily the one who makes the first order easiest.

It's the one who makes the second, fifth and twentieth order easy too.

Melbourne Based. Australia Wide.

Being local is useful.

Having the production capability to back it up is better.

From our Moorabbin showroom and production facility, we supply uniforms, workwear and branded merchandise to individuals, small businesses, large organisations and national teams.

If you're nearby, you can come and see us.

If you're on the other side of Australia, we'll send everything to you.

Either way, you're dealing with the people running the machines.
